If this Plan replaces the policyholder's prior plan of group insurance, everyone who was covered by the prior plan on the day before that plan was replaced by this Plan, whether or not they are working, must be offered coverage by this Plan, unless otherwise specified on your Schedule of Benefits.

"Prior Plan" means the immediate prior plan/policy that was replaced by this Plan.

We will not provide benefits for any expenses payable by the prior plan under an Extension of Benefits provision of the prior plan. However, for other covered expenses which are not related to the condition for which the Extension is being provided, we will provide this Plan's benefits.

This Plan may allow credit toward the Deductible and Out-of-Pocket from the policyholder's prior plan of group insurance. (See your Schedule of Benefits for your Plan requirements.)
